Hey, quick question. The description in the manual of "flames from the sky" says that half the units in the province suffer a 15point armor piercing attack. I really need to know if fire resistance counts against this, specifically, would this still be effective against abysia troops?

Yes, fire resistance gives protection from that. So you won't be able to harm abysian resistant troops.

Too bad But units with fire vulherability will receive additional damage - and for Abyssians you can use something else - e.g. Plague.
