Game Shuts Down?

After playing for several minutes I continusly receive the dreaded windows has encountered a problem and supplies me with this message:

I am using Win. XP SP2 w Radeon x1300

It almost sounded like you were running Vista from the discription. Two things come to mind. One, something else is running that doesn't like the game and two, try turning off the game sounds and see if the problem persists.
