Default GSR

I did a search and did not find the answer I was looking for...

So:
Vision of 40+ represents TI/GSR. When in game (v 3.5) with vision 40 ou see the text in yellow colour, highlighting the fact that it has TI. Now, with say vision 60 the text is green meaning what? Or is it simply just same way as TI (see thru smoke)?

What is the difference between vision 40 and vision 60?

Zip

EDIT: Of course it cannot see through terrain

AFAIK GSR can't see through terrain in real life.

It is green to indicate radar, or to point out that it is longer range TI than normal.

The difference between a 60 range night vision capability that can see through smoke and a 40 one with the same characteristics is 20 hexes more range to the one with 60 range.

See the Game Guide, Unit Info Screen, "Vision" paragraph, and Mobhack help, Units tab, "Vision/TI/GSR" paragraph.
