Default Patches to demo

Will the fixes in the patches to the game ever be added to the demo?

One of the reasons I am asking is this: When playing the demo, if I switch focus to a different window and return, all hell breaks lose - shift on the keyboard stops working, and the graphics become completely distorted (which can be fixed by changing settings). I also once got a BSOD as I switched back. Now, this quite possibly has something to do with my problematic video card, but for the time being this is what I have. I wouldn't want to buy the game if it happens in it as well, but with an unpatched demo I can't really know (unless this is a problem which is known to have been fixed).

Thanks.

The logic is good for why it should be done but it sounds like its probably abit of drudge work so I kindof doubt it will happen.

That could have been good advice, if only it wasn't in strong disagreement with the way I use my computer.
Besides, every bug I see is doubly disturbing - both the bug itself and the concern, "if they got this wrong, I wonder what else can go astray" (and yes, I know that the third law of thermodynamics guarantees that no software can ever be bug-free).

Take a look in the bug shortlist thread and the progress page (link in the shortlist thread) to see what has been fixed and which issues are still open in the complete game. That should give you some idea of how much has happened.
