Default Japanese OOB problem

Japanese SPOB05, unit 039 Support squad will not fire the type 89 GL (weapon 217) at more than 1 hex range.

Having just set up a test at 4-6 hexes with these, they all happily blaze away at the test enemy infantry targets.

Only exception - if suppressed a fair bit (pinned), the section will only fire its rifles.

cheers

That's odd but thanks for checking. I ran a couple of tests before posting. Please see attached file - scenario 450. The type 89s don't work for me in it even in direct fire at 1 hex. Area fire at 1 hex does use the GLs but not beyond 1 hex range.

I will try restoring the OOB to default.

Nope - restoring the OOB didn't work

Tried with Type 10 GLs as well - same result nothing over 1 hex. I suspect something more serious is broken on my end.

A clean install and patch up has corrected the problem.
