WQ losing hit points between turns
Playing as R'lyeh I've summoned Limne the amphibious WQ, and every turn that she is out of the water, her maxHP seems to go down. One turn she went back into the water and, hey presto, her hit points returned. I brought her back on land and her HP went from 72 in turn1 to 22 (t2) to 17 (t3). So I sent her back into the water and her hit points after two turns are still stuck at 17. WTF? She is outside my dominion and she's also my prophet at this point, if that is of use.
I've done a search on this matter to no avail.

Re: WQ losing hit points between turns
Prophet's hitpoints change with dominion just as your pretender's. The reason she has so few hitpoints is that she is on negative dominion.
EDIT: Click hits-column in units info screen for details. The details show how the province she is in will affect, that is, what the effect will be next turn.

Re: WQ losing hit points between turns
Prophets, as Pretenders, have statistics depending on the level of your Dominion (or the level of the enemy Dominion). When your Prophet is in provinces where you have a high Dominion, she will have added health, added strength and so on, while the opposite will happen in lands spiritually hostile to your Pretender.
Health has another peculiarity: added health points do not go away at once, but will take several turns to "disappear". For example, if you teleport your Prophet from a Dominion 10 province to a Dominion 0 province, she will still have added health in the other province, at least for a couple of turns. But the Prophet will gain any health bonus in a single turn (this may be useful with the Golem Cult special theme).

Re: WQ losing hit points between turns
Ooh, that's not good. I'm playing with a very low base dominion strength. Thanks to all for clearing that up.

Re: WQ losing hit points between turns
Remember that every 5 temples increase your base dominion by 1, so if you were to build 10 (15) temples your dominion would rise by two (three). And as ten is the maximum, other's can't get too much ahead of you...
