Site location and construction bonus
First of all, congratulations Illwinter for having added sites thematic to the terrain. I really like that mines can be found in mountain. It quite lessen the impression that you are playing a random map.
I'm really enjoying more and more the changes. We mostly speak of what we dont like, but I'm sure most of us like 95%+ of what is in the game.
now a question to anyone who can respond. What is a construction bonus? I have a site which does that, but the building to be constructed in the province dont change in cost, nor the cost in gold or resources of units drafted, so what?
Thanks in advances.
edit : 1 typo.

Re: Site location and construction bonus
Perhaps it is a forge bonus, reducing the cost of magic items?

Re: Site location and construction bonus
Its a bonus to all spells in Construction path. They, basically, cost less gems, so if site gives 20 bonus to construction all construction spells in that province cost 20% gems less.

Re: Site location and construction bonus
As Daynarr said construction bonus is a bonus on construction spells. There are similar sites that have replaced the old summoning bonus for all magic schools. So mount chaining now gives 40% blood bonus for example, wolven gate 20% conjuration bonus and so on.
Concerning sites in terrains it is now more common for sites to be situated in terrain types that has low pop types, mountains wastes forest etc. And less common in farmlands.

thats add an interesting choice, will you go for the butter (farmland), or for wilder provinces with more magic potential.
I always found that % bonus should not go to high, 20% being my accepted&personal limit. It is quite unbalancing (in MP again) when somebody find mount chaining for example.

Re: Site location and construction bonus
Does a construction bonus include forging items, or just construction-path spells?

Re: Site location and construction bonus
I had my forging costs reduced by one, and it stacked with a Dwarven Hammer.
