Default Heeelp... No Warp Holes for the laymen?

Just got the demo, and being of the old school 4x from the Atari's in the late 80's early 90's I like the idea of "No Warp Holes".

BUT, does this mean that there is now noway to travel between galaxy's, or is it a demo thing, or worse 'the user!'

"No Warp Points" means that when you start the game none of the systems are connected. You cannot travel to any other systems until you create a warp point to it using stellar manipulation.

You have to build a ship with a open warp point component on it and use it to open a warp point to another system.

Yer, yer I was thinking the same thing

I just got a demo game going, gave myself everything (??), nothing to research etc. So off I trot to build me a 'open warp' ship of the 1st order, but I am either unable to because of something I missed, or it is a SU (stupid user) problem

Thanks in advance for the extra help.....

You need stellar manipulation for that and you need the full game for stellar manipulation.

Don't use 'No warp points' setting in the demo. You don't have the tech there to open your own WP.
