Re: Another World - EA - (Running)
No, your spy was not mistaken, I really did have 500 troops sitting in one province.
And it is slightly scary how effective Mountain Warriors are in taking out thugs. You're better off attacking them with archers of some kind.

Hmmm, they're not so effective against Zmeys, though. It seems armor really makes a difference against them. It's a good thing I had those ethereal crossbows handy!

Re: Another World - EA - (Running)
Sorry for the stale.
I just don't have the time to do these long games.
I always hated it when someone just didn't plan on doing long turns in advance but it seems I'm in that position now. It's just crazy at work for the foreseeable future and I just can't manage it.
Please pause, and I'll make a post to look for a sub.

Re: Another World - EA - (Running)
I could use some more time for this turn anyway.
Can we move to 72 hour turns, please? Mid-late game Mictlan has a lot of micro.

Re: Another World - EA - (Running)
Keep in mind that you don't *have* to do everything every turn. I have tons of troops sitting in my castles because I can't be bothered yet to send them out to die. I'll mass a pile and march them out when I need to.
Think of excessive micro as a penalty to level the playing field for those of us with smaller armies Do what you can, submit your turn, and if it goes badly, your micro will be easier next turn!

Re: Another World - EA - (Running)
So is the game officially dead, or are we still waiting for subs?

We're missing the two most powerful nations in the game... with some epic firepower between them... if we can't get them back, starting a new game makes the most sense I think. Turning them AI would be silly at this point.

I'm still here. I'm actually pretty busy in the real life these days but I can still manage to handle this game. I'm ok to wait until Fomoria finding a sub, also, it would be better if he can still play, even if in a slower rate. Anyway, I will hand in my turn as soon as I can.
