Let the Commonwealth Nations form a team? if that happens, the SE olympics would Last only 10 seconds.

Re: not a SEIV Olympics thread anymore
I'm not sure if their are enough players, or if I have enough time for the SE Olympics, but go "TEAM OZ"
I don't want to hear anyone start picking on the Commonwealth Games. Australia has to win some Gold Medals somehow. Plus We will be holding the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
Edit - At least Australia didn't get lumped in with the colonies...

Re: not a SEIV Olympics thread anymore
Rojero,
Was that an offer to help run this?
I'm open to ideas.
Currently I have:
Lithuania team:
Pablo
Dreiko
Nirtus
Breakable
BbegemotT
Angeliux
Team USA
Atrocities (Atrocities)
geckomlis (Gecko)
Mathias_Ice (Mathias Ice)
Ragnarok (WarLord Ragnarok)
General Woundwort (Woundwort)
Rojero (Rojero)
Team Canada:
TerranC
Tesco
Katchoo
Taera
Game Specs
Racial points 3000
large map (fqm?)
3 good starting planets
trade/intel/ruins whatever allowed
no AI of course
Ships/units - 5000
tech cost medium
tech start: low
Any More Ideas?
I'm guessing there is no interest in any part of The Gryphin Convention such as:
No Weapons of Mass Destruction
No Intel
No Mines
?

Re: not a SEIV Olympics thread anymore
With such large teams, Intel is quickly going to get ridiculous. I vote for No Intel.

Team Oz!!
There should be more than enough Aussies around for an Australian Team - So Canada - Battle of the (former) colonies?

Re: not a SEIV Olympics thread anymore
This sounds like an awesome idea!!! I'll stay tuned for thoughts on it's organization.
Right now, my time is sort of limited... so I can't commit just yet...

Not only are all three of these good ideas, I'd throw in "no colony trading" just to make things interesting.
