Needless to say, my children and I had a number of discussions over the next few weeks as as to the different styles of communicating an idea and the effectiveness of each in the long and short term.

And how did you have these 'discussions' with them? I bet you tied them to the chair and lectured to them, right?

Tbontob realizes nobody is home and sadly turns away...
