I think Baalz means to pair them up with Dai Oni's. Though blessing is annoying with Yomi because of the way the mechanics work, sometimes they try to target wolves or even somehow misses (despite being perfect precision).

Bless is perfect precision, but it's a random set of squares around the target square. I had that problem blessing Jotun Jarls.
I really doubt they target non-sacred wolves, it just looks that way.

It's probably easy to fix you know. You just make bless target a single square, then add the bigger aoe as a #nextspell.

Yep, I made a super-simple mod with self-bless. When I was playing Yomi a while ago, coincidentally.

The Body Eth and other spells in the mod are overpowered for reverse communions so shouldn't be used.

Well that's also a good solution, but it's different from what I just proposed in that you end up with two spells.

Okay, I get what you meant now, and it's nicer your way, with just the one spell.

Seeing as how in the ea caelum guide they're talking about good ways to counter demons and undead, any good ideas for this guide about how to take on a caelum player in the middle-late game with yomi? Ideally it should be valid even if they have a significant gem, gold, and research advantage

Caelum raiding is hard to stop--while you're marching your Hannyas toward his capital he can be raiding all around you while still threatening your army, hitting you immediately if you ever show a sign of weakness. Therefore you have to either 1.) have mobile SCs yourself (Winged Boots), or 2.) have remote attack spells like Earth Attack/Manifestation and casters/gems to use them.
