Re: Introduce yourself!! :-)
I think I lost my soul a year ago. Fortunately I had a spare one.

Re: Introduce yourself!! :-)
I know plently of people who have lost a lot sleep because of WOW but a soul... maybe some of them didn't have one to begin with.

Re: Introduce yourself!! :-)
I tried to sell my soul to the devil, but it was returned with a note saying: "Your soul has been tested and disapproved of, please seek eternal damnation elsewhere."
So Im dragging it along.
@Kristoffer O: Ill try, but I expect to be more successful with my not so young friends.

I have tried to introduce it to my students, with some success. There is a small gaming society at my school who appreciated the game. Otherwise most of my students have found it 'good-but-not-my-type-of-game' accompanied by a polite nod. There's a WoW-ish generation out there.

Maybe they just didn't want to belong to the group of teacher suck-ups like the others.

Re: Introduce yourself!! :-)
KO, I'm pretty sure you should make the final of every class you teach a giant blitz game of Dom3. Just give grades out on a curve based on finishing order with the first player getting an A, etc.

Re: Introduce yourself!! :-)
Hello fellow Pretenders!
I simply love this game and all it's infinite possibilities!
...Fell in Love when I first came across DOM I in 04, then imagine my surprise when DOM II steps into the picture; which was even better game minus that terrific scenario involving some of the original owners of a few of the unique artifacts in the game, and finally DOM III which continues to amaze me still. Kristoffer O and Johan K you guys are above words. And you keep at it, Well done. Words can not describe how much I love the detail, mods, and unique vision you guys have put into your game. Keep up the great work!
Also, I been following the community for a long while and it has been one of the best I have ever come across. I spent so much time (DOM II) following the threads of Gandalf, Sabercherry, and countless others. That's another aspect of the game that is so fantastic. All the "Research" that takes place in the form of this forum. It has been great!
I am mainly SP. One of these days I will give MP a try.
I am from Pittsburgh, PA
I have been playing with computers in one form or another since the Magnavox Odyssey.
Thanks again for a lot of fun and adventure over the years!

Re: Introduce yourself!! :-)
Hi.Im a 24 years student, addicted to strategy, rpg's and, very strangely, to 2d figters(yup thats street figter & co).
I hail from the backwater known as Portugal and discovered yesterday,by fruitful accident, dominion3 and after reading a couple(well half the forum) things it seems just great and i think its gonna be my first game purchase in ages.
I was wondering if someone knew where to buy this game in europe or if gamersfront ships overseas, thanks in advance. Looking forward to the beatings you will give when i get the game. And to the reckoning...

Re: Introduce yourself!! :-)
Welcome!
Gamersfront should ship overseas. I'm in Finland and my friend ordered two copies of Dom3 way back from Shrapnel and they shipped them here just fine. No reason why they would not ship to Portugal.
