Gandalf: You're right and I'll probably do just that. Of course, it still won't be possible to implement the low and high provice density with the same .tga.

How? Isn't the AI bad with Mictlan no matter what? I mean, they're better than they used to be, but it's not like much short of a 20 slave a turn income from sites would help. What exactly did you mean? Or was that a random comment of some sort?

Re: Map-in-Progress: World of Warhammer
Thanks Autochthon, I've actually seen the wonderful atlas at war-rvr before. The atlas is fantastic, but some of the geography used for that atlas seems to be based on older maps of the World. My own map is being built from the World map found in the 7th edition WHFB rulebook and doesn't have the realistic satellite imagery appearance of the interactive atlas. I briefly considered writing them to ask about using the basic map image from that atlas for my purposes here, but decided among other things it simply wouldn't feel Dominions-esque to be playing on a map with such detailed and realistic textures.

It doesnt become a big challenge but adding slave income, choice of god, scales, etc that are specific to blood at least helps them not just die on their own 5 or 6 turns into the game.
Of course for a challenge, other nations can be quite formidable with decent god/scales builds

Ah, if that's the case, I would point you in the direction of the WHFRP books (Sigmar's Heirs, to be exact) rather than the WHFB 7th ed.(Games Workshop) books. The maps are IMHO, much better for your purposes.
The more exacting "fluff" requirements for creating a RPG world over a TT game may provide you with more info and inspiration in your efforts.
Good luck,
Autocthon
