Re: The Artifacts Game - [ running ]
Taxes on or off I still wouldn't get any gold as you control the province. My estimated income for both turns has been about 15-20.
There is definitely something a bit screwy going on! It doesn't really matter I think though as I bet it can only come up when you are in my situation of having an upkeep greater than income.
We brave 500 await the chance to meet our soon to be Agarthan Overlords.
Atlantis has this game unless you guys do something quick! Their lead in provinces and in gems (160+ a turn!!) is my reason

Rathar:
You get admin% of income from forts under siege, sieger gets remaining percentage,

Re: The Artifacts Game - [ running ]
sieger sets taxes, besieged gets a cut based on fort's admin I believe, kind of weird.

Micah:
I always thought that besieged gets his admin% based on automatic taxes and unrest and that its value is separate from any tax setting of sieger [but I was never sure].

Re: The Artifacts Game - [ running ]
Yeah I believe that the seiger sets the taxes and the seigee gets only a percent. So while its tempting to put them up to 100 or even 200 sometimes, if you are cornering an enemy its actually better to set them to 0.

Re: The Artifacts Game - [ running ]
i'm also willing to trade my astral gems for blood but i'd want to get a good deal like.. 1:3 or something since gems are fixed income and blood is scaled

also, the besieged will get net gold (after taxation %, unrest too i believe) for gold from sites.

Re: The Artifacts Game - [ running ]
I had no idea that it worked that way. Interesting! But then I should have gained even more gold than what I was estimating (estimation based on what it said my income would be). Most odd!
Either way insofar as I see it I should have had 900 or so gold minus 450 or so upkeep equalling 450 remaining and instead ended up with 150.

Re: The Artifacts Game - [ running ]
Thanks IH! Just lurking here ... but I also never realized that the tax % on a sieged castle affected the portion that the besieged nation receives.
