Just wanted to say hello!
Just ordered the game and waiting for it to arrive.
Played dom2 at a friends place several times so I don't know a lot about the game and the strategies - yet 
Saw a strategy guide for the different nations, but is there also some kind of guide on scripting your troops and general advice? |

ello, I'm from Vermont. I've had dom3 for a long time and i had dom2 even longer. I can hold my own against difficult AI, but I've only ever played hotseat multiplayer and i would love to do some multi.

If your interested in some blitzing(fast paced games generally over in a few hours) then pop by the IRC channel(sticky above FAQs for info) - there has been atleast one today - quite possibly more. |

Hi, from Austin TX.
Got the game a few days ago, logged in plenty of hours. My colleagues probably will recognize the music from how much I find myself humming it.

Hello, another new player here. I'm from California, just got the game from the mail and can't wait to get into it.
Oh, and a quick question, is the game supposed to ship with a box? I ordered it from Amazon to take advantage of their Amazon Prime deal, and I'm hoping they didn't mess up. (I did get the cd and kickass manual though.)

Nope the game's not meant to come with a box - just a manual and CD.
By the way, when any of you fancy a go at MP (highly recommended!), I'm probably quite a good person to send a message to, since I start up games for new players from time to time.

Nah, when I got it the CD and manual were just wrapped in plastic. I didn't know Amazon had it now though.
