Hey guys...I have an issue with this last turn. One of my commanders who was attacked by a disease demon clearly escaped with 16 hp to spare off the map but he has disappeared. I guess there is not much I can do about it - The statistics show him as dead but the battle just does not show that. What a bummer.

if itis poison on some damage that tics he can still die after the assasination attempt/battle afaik, depending on the effect/spell

AFAIK whenever a commander retreats from an assassination he is considered dead. There are no retreats from duels as far as I know

And yup, the poison will continue to tick for some tunrs as can be seen by watching battles where units on the winning side are poisoned.

But the issue here was a retreat (attempt) from a duel. Due to this high level fear tends to be very nasty at duels
