Re: LA Game - Victoria - Running
Sigh =\ I had the turn all ready, and I was going, send it out tonight for Patala, but I thought I had plenty of time because the server didn't send out a warning e-mail.
I think either Wraith Lord didn't setup proper forwarding rules so that I got that e-mail as well, or Llamaserver didn't send it.

Re: LA Game - Victoria - Running
Interesting you should say that. When last I checked the server I thought I had plenty of time as well. I didn't get to submit the turn and I therefore just staled without meaning to.
I just went through my e-mails and there is absolutely no notification that I was running out of time.

Re: LA Game - Victoria - Running
Are you guys referring to turn 94?
Jazzepi, I have played turn 94 and submitted it on time. I hope I made it clear in my email to you and in this thread (I specifically mentioned turn 95), sorry for any possible confusion.
Did you get turn 95?- If so this means that the forwarding rule works well. There's no real reason that it won't as I have successfully set several of those already.
AoE, I'm sorry to hear that you staled
I find it odd that the server didn't send a warning email. I know I got these in the past and they saved me from staling. Perhaps you'd want to alert llamaserver to that so that he may look into it.

Re: LA Game - Victoria - Running
Dont count on email to make sure you dont stale--I have llama server under my favorites so I just check it a few times a day to see if my turns have made it and how long I have.

I generally don't rely on the e-mail. I just find it strange that I didn't get one.

Re: LA Game - Victoria - Running
Sometimes when I look at the server I confuse it's time with my time Missed a few turns myself that way.

Re: LA Game - Victoria - Running
My apologies. This was my first attempt to sub for another player. I thought for a while it would be interesting to try, and indeed it was interesting.
Its taken me all this time to rid myself of my useless and costly chaff. Still a good proportion of it remains, but my upkeep is down and my mages and sacreds are up, which is satisfying. I also managed to double the blood slave output. Still, I don't find this game enjoyable. I just don't like picking up where someone else left off, especially since I think it to be a lot of work to bring the nation around to my standards.
I sat down to do my turn several times recently and just didn't have the heart each time. This is a game; games are meant to be fun; this feels more like work; I would therefore like to play another game. Again, I'm sorry.
