Re: Frequently Asked Questions for Newbies
For FAQ:
Unless you have a positive treaty with someone you cannot see what treaties they have in the treaty grid.
If you have a positive treaty with someone else who also has a positive treaty with them you can see their treaties "by proxy". (I belive)( Tesco Samoa)
Needs to be more pedagogic

Re: Frequently Asked Questions for Newbies
How much damage do damaging wormholes do? If I pump up the armor on a ship, is it safe to go through?
Thanks!

The default damage for an unstable warp point in StellarAbilityTypes.txt is 200.
Yes, you have the idea. Shields don't help against warp point (or storm or mine) damage but armor does.
[edit: damaging storms also have default damage of 200 per StellarAbilityTypes.txt. Also note that this damage is applied to each ship that passes through the sector.]

Hey, I noticed you added the turn checklist (#18). I like it!

IIRC, ramming drops the attacker's shields to 0

I recalled incorrectly, you know. Ramming does not affect the attacker's shields at all (unless a shield generator component gets destroyed, of course). A ship that rams (attacker, source) has it's shields remain at whatever level they were before the ram. All damage is done to it's hull, none to shielding. Its shields are not dropped to 0. The target ship, on the other hand, will have damage done to it's shields first before it takes any structural damage.

You can hit ctrl + # to send a ship/fleet to a waypoint directly. ctrl + # doesn't work for setting auto waypoints at SYs, but then, how could it?

Add in the waypoint section, really good.
