By the way, Pelthin are you Fomoria? You had asked for Lanka. Not a big deal, just making sure it's you.

I just got the 4th turn this morning, and :
- Formoria seems not to be Pelthin (I suppose the in-game message asking if there was a related forum was sent to all players ?)
- Agartha staled

I also got that message and it seems that someone took Pelthins place. If that's the case then I think we should consider to restart the game if he still wants to play.

Yup I staled. Not because of lack of time but because I forgot to send the turn after doing it, totally stupid

I second the call for a restart, not because I staled (my own fault), but I think it´s unacceptable that people steal someones player slot.

Still, even if we restart, we should host another time just to make contact with the guy. Apparantly he doesn´t know the customs here and meant no harm.

Pelthin,

Can you post here to verify you're not playing right now? We can do a restart. I'll also PM you.

This is what I got from Pelthin. I'll follow general consensus.

Tarrax,

it is not me. My computer crashed, and I jsut got it back up and running.

I need to bow out of the game, so whoever the other person is can keep playing and I will bow out.

Thanks.

Sorry for Pelthin.

I guess the other unknown person can play if he gets in on the forum and understands how it works in future sing-ups.

I´ve had the same thing happening in two other games so I think it´s important to discourage this behaviour.

Hello, I'm playing for Fomoria.
I tried to find some games on http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/forumdisplay.php?f=145, but has difficulties with finding a game with acceptable parameters which is not already running.
Can someone tell me how to find not started games at this forum in future?

Else one moment: what means "non-binding diplomacy"? I shouldn't try to make non-agression pacts and trade items with other players?

Hi Kref, welcome to the community!

You find games and sign up here. Sometimes there are none that are open, in that case you can start your own by posting a new game thread and describing what kind of game it is, house rules, how many players you are looking for etc. Usually you create the game on the llamaserver or elsewhere when you have full signups.

Keep in mind not to sign up in too many games initially, a single game can become very time consuming after a while and go on for many months.

Non-binding diplomacy should mean any deals are based entirely on in-game trust, and that players are allowed to break treaties as they wish. In other words: If you´re backstabbed you can´t complain about it. Also called Machiavellan diplomacy in some games.
