No I mean they had him blow his accent all out of proportions so it went from subtle to "'Ello Guv car fur a shawg" type thing.

They used it to show how "Degenerated" the other Universe was so in a sense they showed that "if you have a heavy british accent your a peasent" sort of thing lol.

Ahhh so having a decent accent and the ability to spell properly makes things degenerate? I'll make a note of that.

The way I look at it the DS9 one is a slightly different Alternate universe where a slightly alternate kirk visited. Thus the DS9 people aren't interacting with the universe their Kirk visited but a different one. I actually hunted down a copy of "Dark Mirror" to find some of the background fluff (or at least one authors view of it) |
