Hmm..., not been able to download Venhola maps for a week or two.
The different map and satellite photo layers work fine (location names and everything) but when I try to download the file I get the:
Something went wrong, return value 25. Process returned:
Does it work for you?

If so, does anyone have it for Windows? Legend has it it is available as a program too

Just tried the email address I had for him that I had used before and received an autogenerated message that he no longer works for that company so I tried an old gmail address I had .
I just got an automated message that it was delivered so lets hope

It has not been working for me for some time. Tried going back to making maps in the pre-Venhola fashion and thought it would speed things up but found it's more frustrating not having that detailed level of information Venhola provides.
You might be thinking of WW2 map and MicroDEM which I think was sort of the origin of Venhola:
