So far, the set up is thus:

Species 8472
The Borg
The Breen
Cardassian Union
Dominion Empire (Atrocities)
Federation STNG
Ferengi Alliance
Klingon Empire (Fyron*)
Romulan Star Empire
Son'a Command

*Unless someone else really wants to play them

Ferengi, eh? Might I ask why? Is it just because you think that they will likely not be requested by anybody?

I wqas thinking about claiming the Borg, but considering that the whole galaxy would be fools to enter in any kind of treaty with them, I think I will pick Species 8472. This species seems to be a wild card.

Maybe because I consider myself as a little bastard! Or maybe because always liked their profit hungry policies! Or maybe because their total lack of scruples. Or maybe because I like the role of the Ferengi women in their society! Or maybe for all these reasons at the same time!

I have a question: we will need to play tying to act like the race that we're using? Or simply play like other SE4 game?

I never knew that anyone actually liked the Ferengi. Guess you proved me wrong there!

I would prefer that everyone tries to design and play their race faithfully to Star Trek. Otherwise, this just becomes yet another PBW game. I mean, there are plenty of games that you could choose from, so why not make this one more unique?
