I would say from the reports of English language papers from the region, IRG and Shia militias are handing IS their hats. In this fight, Iran is doing the heavy lifting against IS, not attacking Western interests.

This is to be a campaign right? Then dedicate a scenario to have those SAM's reclaimed. That would make for an interesting twist...Shia malitas and IRG units take back the SAMs. If they fail, the campaign gets much tougher, or the campaign is over.

I doubt 25% of Bagdad is IS. Either way, the Green Zone is massive and very much defensible. Especially, given the several US bases within the immediate vicinity of Bagdad, such as Ain al-Asad USMC base just 30km. Still an interesting concept. Intriguing.
