Re: Things I would like changed
Hi, one more suggestion. make spells tradable. After looking at the mods I think i need to consult with some buddys for some basic training in computers. Or better yet how about a product like "Domonions3 for Dummies". I would buy such book. Bwaha

Re: Things I would like changed
Go for it.
Dominions 3 for Dummies would have to be written by a player.
Personally with the free sites on the net for doing things like publishing books and disks for sale, Im surprised none have showed up. A good AAR as a combination story, and tutorial. Or a CD with a collection of the best maps and mods and player-created documentation.

Re: Things I would like changed
Well they couldn't sell a CD with maps and mods.
Or rather they could but people would be pissed off about it if they found out.

Re: Things I would like changed
Well I didnt mean to automatically imply that they wouldnt ask. Its just that such compilations are fairly common, and can be helpful to people getting into the game years after its release. A CD with someones /maps and /mods and /doc directories already fully installed might be nice.

Yeah, I really dislike that spells aren't learned by wizards, they are known by nations.
Would be cool if wizards learned spells - and then could teach them to other wizards, as a separate action.

And serendipity could have you discovering a level 7 spell while doing early research or could complicate things a bit by having a difficult time getting that last site searching spell while studying Thaum for an extra long time.
But what if that mage had a certain rare random, and you didn't get another before he died of old age? And poof, bye bye spell. Also, late game would suck, training mages 10 provinces away from your capital, where all of your scholars are.

Hey, I love this game also. I hope no one thinks otherwise. I also only want to help it get even better. Bwaha

Re: Things I would like changed
I've been playing the new patch for awhile now, and it might just be my games, (sp) but the sea races don't appear to be expanding onto land very much expecially Ryah in the EA. Also I would like to see the AI players use bemeths in large numbers, in fact I very seldom have seen them use them at all. other then that the game is fun to play.
I've played on several maps including the multi player one and the sea races have remained in the water... Could it be just that particular map??
