Once I get an n2 and f2 imp alch, I go back to CM's. IMp Geo's are so frigging expensive and I don't find them that great for battlemages. Just average.

Just a quick test for those interested.

EA - does not appear to get any benefit, as KO said.
MA - after 100 turns the capital reached 57 pd in a test game (which is a growth of 32 points). Using KO's equation that suggests ~10% (*order scale) chance to increase. It never increased more than 1 point per turn, which also holds to what KO said.
Provinces with <20 pd have a significantly greater chance. With full order my test province grew to pd 20 in only 24 turns (that is an 80% chance, or 27% * the order scale).
LA - more than half the rate of MA. 46 after 100 turns, or a growth of 21 (which translates into about 7% per point of order). Provinces under 20 pd also grow very fast, though clearly not as fast as in MA. If the ratio for provinces above 20 also applies to those below, I would assume about 20% per point of order.

NOTE: I noticed that PD does not grow when a province is attacked, so conscription will only help with those provinces in your rear that are not under constant pressure.

Are you sure about that? I have been playing around with MA TC a lot the last couple of days, and I noticed very often that if I took a province that was in my dominion, it would have 1 PD already on the first turn (the turn I took it).

Hmmm... When I was running my tests I noticed that after turn 50 or so the AI would attack every turn (I had to turn up the indies to stop this). The PD never went up when the AI attacked, but I did notice the same automatic PD you refer to.
