OT: Interesting Naval Information

Well, the slightly smaller ship east of the third carrier is I think a CG (missile cruiser) perhaps like USS San Jacinto ( http://www.sanjacinto.navy.mil/ ), which seems to be the largest ship in many of the recent carrier strike groups assembled (also a couple of missile frigates (FFG) and several destroyers. I wonder if the bigger ships aren't some sort of maintenance ships... I'll keep looking...

Ok, I think the larger ships are probably Fast Combat Support Ships like USNS Rainier ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USNS_Rainier_(T-AOE-7) ). In Space Empires terms, a fast hull & engines plus a bunch of Supply Storage components.
