I will say middle era than, and I will pick monkey people... Bandar Log in this case.

Late, please.

Are we going to use 3.00 until 3.02 comes out, by the way? I think that would be the best idea, what with the hunter of heroes bug -- nobody would want to get his/her pretender chomped on turn 10.

(I'm playing a comp stomp with a couple of friends, but this would be my first 'real' MP game.)

ETA - If we go Late, it looks like WSzabo has already claimed Man. For Late, my second choice would be Jomon. For Mid, my first choice is still Man.

I'm a newbie. Surely is and anyone meeting me on the battlefield should agree with me.

Middle era is good and I vote for that.
My first Choice would be Abysia, 2nd Ulm and 3rd Ermor

Yeah and I think some kind of roleplaying should be mandatory, that doesn't mean we should overdo it but some report from everyone in the thread every turn would make the game alot more fun... atleast to me.

Its mostly that there are none-noob-friendly nations around, like crazy Rlyeh, or freespawning Ermor

And the tougher indies probably don't help :X

Also, remember that I almost never played Pangaea SP, and never in MP, so don't be surprised if I keel over quickly

I'm opposed to making reports, etc mandatory. That would feel too much like work (and so drain our enthusiasm), or at least, it would to me.

RP is fine, mandatory reports I'd vote against.

Middle era is fine by me. The only middle I've ever played even SP is Abysia so I'd perhaps like that.

When are we aiming to start? Since I could use a little time checking out the middle nations so I could make a pick I'm not going to regret early

Tho if we want to 'rush' it, Abysia goes nicely.
