Help! I' having problems with the Demo!

I'm using a powerpc G4.

Ok, just to make sure I'm doing this right...

I have been using the "New Command..." command to enter in
these commands, right. Otherwise all I get is command not found message.

Nope, you should be using the teminal or shell or whatever that application is called. Do a "ls" (lists all files) too so you can see if Dominions3.app is in the same directory as you.

The folder was on the deskotope when I did this

Ok so scratch what I did before...

In the shell I changed the directory to the Desktop (where the app is located) did a ls and found the app (it is listed as Dominions3demo.app). When I try the command line Dominions3.app/Contents..., I get a command not found. The same holds true using the same command but with Dominions3demo.app

Ah, of course you are using the demo, I didn't think of that. So it should be something like:
Dominions3demo.app/Contents/MacOS/Dominions3demo -dd

Feel free to improve it if you get another 'command not found'.

Tried this as a change and got this the folder is still on the desktope hope it helps

I googled on that library--it's a standard OS X lib, not SDL.

I found a report that suggests that the 10.2.8/PPC combo has this problem with some build methods. Beyond that, the discussion was over my head.

Dom 3 is advertised as requiring 10.1 or later, so you are in principle OK. Testing lots of hardware/OS combos is tough. Is there anyone out there (beta testers?) who ran Dom3 under 10.2.8 on a PPC Mac?

Looks like a recompilation is necessary. I'll try to create a new demo and then you can see if that works better.
