I still can't see a difference between the two.
Is this some sort of psycological experiment to see if you can convince people there is a difference when they are actually exactly the same?

It's a lot easier to see against a dark background, such as in the aforementioned post on SEnet. Not sure why AT made it transparent.

Yah, I tried looking at it there too and still saw no difference. The only way I could tell a diff was to download both pics and mess with the color balance in photoed. Then I could see they had different textures. Can't say I prefer either one though.
