Great Wars of the Galactic Sector

I kinda forgot to update this story, even though it went on a lot longer. But since I have a new story from a first person perspective that already has the first chapter done, I'd like the summarize the finish of this one first.

It was a dance of point defense and missile use. After being in great danger the collective won the next battle with heavy missile fire, then the empire responded with heavy missile defense and huge troop buildups.

Even with the collective and the monarchy working together it was a back and forth battle and I eventually declared it to be a draw. Smaller imperial fleets defeated huge Monarchy efforts, and fighters proved to be pointless so the monarchy began going all out with warships but didn't win.

I called it a draw, and it was a rather interesting one.
