Actually, I liked history class. So much so, I was thinking of becoming a historian for awhile, but saw no "future" in it

Hmmm.. Me too. I was seriously considering to go to the History Department in Moscow State University but that snagging thought back in my mind "OK, we know it, case close, do something usefull!" pushed me to the MFTI instead. Little know I then about "The theory of everything"
