Re: OT: Your Favorite Book Series
Someday someone will ask this question and get answers like, Sachmo's "Remorhaz Series", or Dogcoff's "Cane Mysteries". ![](http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif)

Geo: You're too kind. We'd have to see our work in print first though, maybe one day...
ANd did anyone notice my deliberate mistake in that previous post? Yes, I said "William M Banks" not "Iain M banks". Sorry Mr Banks. The scary thing is I was sober when I posted that, and pissed now ![](http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif)

Re: OT: Your Favorite Book Series
My favorite series? Not in any order, either, but here they are:
Clive Cussler's Dirk Pitt books
the Star Wars books (because 99% of them are in continuity, not only with the books, but the comics)
The Lost Regiment series (aargh!! keep forgetting the author's name)
the William Shatner (ghost)written Star Trek books
the Dark Tower books by Stephen King (hell, any book written by Stephen King, except for Cujo)
the first 2 Dragonlance trilogies by Weiss & Hickman
I'm sure there are more trilogies and series I've read over the years, but that's all I can recall right now.

Re: OT: Your Favorite Book Series
The Reality Dysfunction series by Peter Hamilton (super duper highly recommended)
Hyperion series by Dan Simmons
Dune series by Herbert
Foundation series by Asimov
Ender's Game series by Orson Scott Card
Hitchhiker's series by Adams
Tons more, but those are the ones that stand out.
