Is there anywhere one could download a "game movie" or some screen shots for Tribes so we can get a visual of what you guys are talking about?

I'm not trying to hurt any feelings, this is just my tribes experiece, which was more so in tribes 2. note that i've only played the demos.

There are vehicles like tanks and jets

which your 'helpfull' teammates will shoot you out of just for fun.

The small RPG element comes in when you go to the inventories.

There are tons of things in the inventory to choose from --->

none of which you can take the time to choose, because of your aforementioned 'helpfull' teammates.

yes, tribes is a great game. but unless someone can tell me about servers where things like that don't happen, I'm feeling the urge to be sarcastic every time it's brought up.

First off Narf....

Don't play the demo servers, the people playing those usually play just to be arses. Yeah most servers are good though, here is a list of names (don't remember ip addresses at the moment) that I can come up with off the top of my head.

DEDICATED KATABATIC
New Noobs Server
Any meltdown 2 mod server (the mod community is extremely dedicated)

Note, that playing in noob servers or servers using BWAdmin will automatically kick you from the server if you have more than 5 team kills. It sucks if you have bad aim, but it keeps the arses out. Plus most player-run servers will kick you if you are team killing, or inventory killing. Also, most people will kick you if you excessively whine.
I have only had 1 bad Tribes experience where this guy kept inventory killing me, I complained to the admin, then I just killed the guy cause nothing was being done... then I got kicked because I accidentally "blew up" the rest of the players in the area using a modded weapon. I didn't know it was that powerful, honest! LOL... I have been playing Tribes 2 for about a year now and only one bad 15 minute experience isn't enough to phase me

And YES you can download Tribes 2 movies and such from http://www.tribes2.com/

You can pick up the completely patched game for $10 at your local Best Buy or Wal-Mart if you don't like ordering from Online. Better hurry though, I don't think many Tribes 2 copies will be left on shelves when Tribes 3 comes out!
