Re: Technology that should be killed off?
#10 DVD's
YES OH GOD YES. Get rid of these @#$@# things and get me a format that will let me actually watch a movie. (even one I bought in Japan or Upper Mongolia) I despise these things we every fiber of my being. And you DVD fans, I hate you all too for supporting this misserable format. Once friggen little scratch and the @#%$#%$ movie skips an entire scene!! This never happened with VHS. DVD's have one and exactly one feature that makes them better than VHS. They are smaller. Period.
(PS Just venting. I don't really hate you DVD fans who have obviously not had my bad luck with DVD's )

10 DVD's - sounds like somebody just doesn't want to pay to upgrade his movie collection...

WARNING You may have been brainwashed by DVD makers if you think converting your reliable VHS into an unreliable DVD that gives you poorer picture quality on your standard TV and a bunch or crap 'features' is an 'upgrade'

Is this really possible? I've read a couple Sci Fi novels (Angles by Larry Niven) where it is suggested that NASA space flight is grossly and needlessly expensive and space flight could be achieved much much cheaaper. But I'm not sure if that just makes good Sci Fi or if it is actually true.

Re: Technology that should be killed off?
hehe #7 is funny. Commit a crime, wait no prison for you, you just lose your drivers license. I might contemplate bank robbery or something more diabolical if that is the worst punishment I will get.

like i said, your taking him to seriously. Ah, but you see, "irreverent" comments and articles are the best to debate. If someone feels like they want to write something up and put it on the internet, I feel free to debate and refute their arguements. That's the fun of stuff like this.
