When thinking about these mechs, think more Gundam and Macross, rather than Battletech. They need to look speedy and agile above all else. Some examples of what I have so far are...

These are all blatant rip-offs from samples provided by the doga website but I have been trying to do some tinkering using them as a template.

I took a look at the Namovan and their troops look like a good basis for the light Xi'Chung mechas. Could you come up with a slightly more "spaceworthy" Version of them in Xi'Chung colours?

I don't have a copy of the Azorani on my comp and I can't det to either PBW or SOTAS. Do you have a link?

I'm trying to add Giant Mecha to the standard shipsets so that there is more than one race in my mod that can use them. Basically, I need at least a few mechs per race that at least loosely follow the races theme.

Not too bad. It looks kinda like a Terran or Piundon repair mech. That open bay in the bottom seems like it's made to hold damaged mechs. Knock a few of the gun barrels off and add some kind of repair-type apendages and it would be perfect.

If anyone wants to do the template thing here are some of the Doga3 converted mechs from the website...

Just decompress and then put the folder in DOGACGA->data->l3_samp->connection->human->robot folder

The rest should be good as gold.
