Re: Last Rites - First Blood! - Third Year
i think we should definitly look for a sub. He is staling far to often and actually altantis position is quite good.... i would love to get a nation like that for subbing but in this game i am already stuck with Tien Chi.

Re: Last Rites - First Blood! - Third Year
Yeah, I agree, Atlantis has a good position, so it would be a shame to see him go AI, second the suggestion of finding a sub, shouldn't be too hard.

Re: Last Rites - First Blood! - Third Year
I am a newb, interested in subbing AND I have a strong drive to learn the game better. I can't promise to keep Atlantis in such a good position but I am on the game each night and will keep my turns going.
If the original player re-surfaces soon I would also step back gracefully and wait for the next newb game to start.
Thanks

Re: Last Rites - First Blood! - Third Year
I just had a chance to catch up on this thread over dinner.
Seems like quite a bit of drama...
Also, it does seem like Atlantis is cursed.
Ah well, I'll just acclimate myself to the landscape and get a turn sent out.

Re: Last Rites - First Blood! - Third Year
Ok, when starting the game I choose Atlantis turn 34 but I am immediately asked for a password.
I see from an earlier post that a password is not required.
Any ideas?
I have the file saved appropriately to my savedgames/last_rites folder. I can see and select the game fine.

Well, someone played turn 34 for atlantis, because you did not stall.
