Re: EA Game - \"Strolling through the EA\" New to mi
Gosh... I didnt notice we were about to be finished so soon... the fun didnt even start for me. I'd also like to replay, with different victory conditions though. I'd prefer a longer game.

Re: EA Game - \"Strolling through the EA\" New to mi
The speed of the game was incredible ! Never had it. Amazing. Thats what I remember the most From other things- its pity. Even had no chance to tae over all indep. lands around me, no wars! Not really a game for me . Next time we should be more careful with conditions.

Re: EA Game - \"Strolling through the EA\" New to mi
Crazy fast! The worst part of it being over so soon is that I just found 4 sites with an acashic record in a sea province. The total for the province was 5 water, 3 death, 1 earth, and Sea Fathers available for hire!
Having brigands in my capitol twice and in my only other province once on top of my home temple going boom didn't help my expansion at all.

Any folks interested in maybe random nations next time (assuming we're going to start another)? I enjoy those games, it makes you try out new nations.

Re: EA Game - \"Strolling through the EA\" New to mi
Hello again - er, oops! Man, I'm really sorry about the VP cockup, that was a bungle of epic proportions. Extremely unfortunate that I did that just before leaving, I'm sorry to have left you all with a curious and brief game.
I'd be more than happy to host again if you'd like a rematch - and this time I will get the VPs right!

Oh, and to clarify - yes, it is possible to deactivate the VPs in independent provinces, and that's what I intended, but apparently failed to do.

Re: EA Game - \"Strolling through the EA\" New to mi
Im sorry about that too! >< We can totally restart...I would like that too. It is my fault for picking a bad map. Random nations may be fun, but glory of the gods may be good. Thoughts?

Re: EA Game - \"Strolling through the EA\" New to mi
Congratulations, Kadelake!
BTW - had you good scales or not? You used mainly cavalry rush, aren't you?
And thanks for a sporting reply, Marverny. I accosted you, firstly, because in was on your border where my army got 2 identical "bad star" events! Which, together with you not responding to earlier offer of peace, made quite clear impression.. And it was time for some war any way!
To all:
Yes, it should have been either no capitals as VPs, or no other VPs. Otherwise, VP condition is great fun! Map VPs occurring together with great magic sites are probably better, but capitals already have good sites...
And yes, I like Cradle of Dominions so vote for it too.
As for nation - I'd prefer the same, but probably with different Pretender (I made 4 before this game... )
So - Back to Strolling 2!

Re: EA Game - \"Strolling through the EA\" New to mi
I had decent scales, order 3 and sloth 1. Used cavalry, archers and awake pretender. The pretender helped a lot in this short game.
I'd like to play as Sauromatia again. This was my first time and I think I'm starting to learn some things about them. A VP game sounds good as long as it works as intended. I actually really liked the map but if you want to change I don't have much against it
