Re: SP and SPAA Developments
I'm not buying it.
The timeline just doesn't quite fit from when they got into country to have gotten all the way to Eastern Ukraine in, like a day, I'm not so sure about that being reality.
Regards,
Pat

Re: SP and SPAA Developments
I can confirm now that the Ukraine is now operating these and that the Czech Republic OOB needs it added START JAN 2018.

WITH MY HEAD "BOBBING", I somehow managed to do separate posts and the one with the least amount of info was this one.
Ukraine was conducting an evaluation of the DANA M1 CZ for a few months before the war. The DANA M1 CZ went service on JAN 2018 with the Czech Republic.
The Ukrainians put the DANA M1 CZ into service this month along with additional units also shipped in from the Czech Republic. Ukraine START APR 2022.
I understand this might get in this cycle; I'll get it done on my end.
Regards,
Pat

Re: SP and SPAA Developments
I feel you REALLY understand why I shifted back to " my" thread starters. I'm just trying really hard to only post what I know they have from as many reliable sources my brain can handle at this time.
I remember very early on someone posted that the Ukraine got the DANA M2 8x8 SPAA system. Well, that's partially true for test and evaluation just before the war if they received if at all maybe handful of them. I can confirm DENMARK got them last year I believe and it ain't the old DANA. If interested let me know, I'll post it in the appropriate thread if taken for action.

War is Hell and as I came across a post that thrilled me to death, like all wars they come at a cost. It appears the fallout from this one has occurred.
Just an add on about S-300PMU-1 I'm a deep miner.
https://worldnewsera.com/automobile/...is-on-its-way/
Para 13 discusses the overall artillery situation about foreign artillery options for the Ukraine. Not in this but my files the Polish KRAB K-9 was also considered in 2020. Good info throughout concerning German situation and POTENTIAL sales about two paras above this one I think was.

Pat

Re: SP and SPAA Developments
Not saying I believe anything this guy has posted or even claims, but now according to his reports we, the US, have given the Ukrainians M270 MRLS along with all the other stuff.

Re: SP and SPAA Developments
Well, there was an XM-177 (or CAR-15), but I doubt sending Vietnam era carbines would be of any help to Ukraine...:P

Do they still function? If they do, then they are weapons to put into the fight, so they would get used. At this point Ukraine can't be choosey about what they get, they are begging for help.

I think Ukraine is in dire need of big guns and AT weapons, small arms are probably better than nothing but will not change things much.
