Re: Startrek: Starfury resurrected!
Well Deadzone in that case I got some seriously bad news. Yesterday my comp went nuts and i had to format the HD so everything I had on ST SF is gone. This is a massive set back as I was the only one holding all the modified sound, music, Components and new UI graphics.
Anyone willing to help get this vital data back will be most appreciated.
Sorry guys.

Re: Startrek: Starfury resurrected!
Well guys we just got another set back.
My comp is fried so this mod is going on standby until further notice, i'm sorry for the inconvience this may cause to anyone but were going to have to wait until I get another comp. Deadzone, data recovery is now completely out of the question.
I can only hope the HD is intact and its only the motherboard that has expired. I'll more info tomorrow hopefully.

Re: Startrek: Starfury resurrected!
Well, to pass the time I have a small one system campaign where you can only fly with the two federation vessels I made. And there's some other federation ships to fight. (EDIT: the other ships are the two ship models you can fly) I upload it to internet tomorrow and post a link here.

Re: Startrek: Starfury resurrected!
Pat I got a job for you. Your to take over the project until im back on my feet. Hopefully, however unlikely, I will be back Online and ready to go soon.
I personally don't believe will happen and that's why im doing this, yesterday we got the monitor on my PC is kick on and the motherboard responded partially but still no device reconition or HD activity. This probably won't be resolved for at least 2-3 weeks "maybe" less.
If Patrick is not up to this task who else feels ready to take over ST SF? Exan? Sam? Deadzone???
My goal here is to ensure the continuation of this mod at all costs, I just hope all of you feel the same way. tomorrow I hope to have better news for all of us.

Re: Startrek: Starfury resurrected!
Btw, if you want to fly some Trek themed ships then here's little campaign that can help. It doesn't have any missions for you to do yet. But you can fly around. I was planning on putting few missions like go around a planet, destroy a drone and such but I'm too lazy and this one might be the final Version of it.

Re: Startrek: Starfury resurrected!
Well Pat, I haven't really been following any real plan layout. Truth be told I have just been winging it , but i'll see about getting you some ideas about how to proceed. For now the biggest thing we need done is the recovery of lost data I'd say get some Music, FX, get someone to make new graphics for UI and maybe some new components. But as for you Pat, as Acting Lead Designer your goal is to (For now) move away from the story, unless your really needed, and focus on what you most want to happen in the game. (Confer with me via e-mail if you have ANY problems) Also you'll be in charge of naming Campaigns and determening what order/way/sequence the campaigns will be played in. (Again just throw me an e-mail and i'll help you through the rough stuff) That's, for the most part, what I do.
Ok?
