Re: Tarrax - Newbie Game (running) - EA 4-8 players on tiny/small random map
I only postponed turn 48 for 48 hours. You realize when a turn hosts, it resets the turn period to default (24 hours), right? Maybe that's what happened. Turn 48 hosted during the weekend (which means everybody including you must have sent files). I didn't do additional postponing for turn 49 since you said you'll be back on Tuesday for turn 48.

Well, according to the times of the turns I received, turn 48 was sent on Saturday at 10 AM, then I staled for turns 49 and 50 which were sent on Sunday at 4 PM and on Tuesday at 10 AM respectively, so it seems something went wrong with the postponement

JMB,
That is a bummer. I will let you retake 7 and 17 from AI Agartha (I was going to take them this turn). Not much but hope that takes some sting out.

Yeah, that's probably what it was: a misunderstanding on which turn I wanted delayed

Re: Tarrax - Newbie Game (running) - EA 4-8 players on tiny/small random map
Let it be said the giants of Fomoria fought as living legends, standing fast to the last giant. Ulm's nose was bloodied repeatedly by a handful of mages that would not yield a eyelash defending their capital. There became a sense of delicious frustration as repeated castle stormings were turned back by clever tactics. Attrition finally swung the campaign after many failed breach attempts. Then, against all odds, a lone Fomorian scout captured a remote territory single handedly the turn the capital fell. The scout defeated an Ulm commander, swordsman and archer with viscious skill. His name is engraved next to Ulm's own heros in the Capital Hall of Heroes.

Congratulations for Ulm!
Fighting his forces gave me valuable experience in general and in Fomorian strategies.
It would be intresting to see the result of this game )

Svamptripp was r'lyeh. It looks like he's about to stale his fifth consecutive turn here. If you have any info PM Quitti. If you need a sub, post for one. I might be interested after Christmas, but I can't add another game right now.
Thought you guys should know.

I think we should pause the game until we hear from Svamptripp or find a sub for Mictlan. Otherwise, we might as well declare the game to be over with Ulm as the winner, since I certainly can't win at this point...

I postponed the turn for 7 days (I will keep postponing until we find a sub). I also changed the title of this thread to show we are looking for a sub. We'll see how it goes.
