Question regarding fever fetish and regen items

Hi as the title says I have a question regarding the fever fetish magic item. If a character with a fever fetish is given a ring of regen or some other regen object will that balance out the disease caused by the fever fetish? I'm playing a glory of the gods, non-CBM, 14 AI player game, as EA C'tis and have fairly easy access to them, but not sure I want to sacrifice my 100gp researchers as disease mules.

Yes. Don't give it to them until they're down a few points or they won't generate gems. They'll still lose a hp every year and have a chance of getting more afflictions.
Bear in mind that this raises the cost of fever fetish and thus pushes back your break-even point.
If you have a N bless, shrouds are the cheapest option.

Didn't take the nature bless but excellent idea (the shroud), if i replay C'tis again. If i empower my pretender to lvl 4 will she get the blessing from the empowerment, or is it just for skills in the build phase?
