CIWS and VIRSS
I'm just curious, which one is more effective, VIRSS or CIWS. Assuming that both units are in the exact same status and both are fired by a unit with the exact same status, which one is more likely to defeat the missile, a VIRSS equipped or a CIWS equipped one. Or do they have an equal chance of intercepting the projectile and the differences are just for cosmetic purposes + VIRSS creating a smoke screen.
And in case anyone is still confused, I'm talking about the game, not in real life.

Re: CIWS and VIRSS
I knew I forgot something. So yeah, I'm only asking about the interception efficiency, not any additionaly bonuses such as VIRSS creating a free smoke screen or CIWS being aesthetically more pleasing.

Re: CIWS and VIRSS
VIRSS is better, since to get 1 CIWS shot you need 1 EW point, to Get 1 VIRSS shot you need 3

CIWS is marginally more effective - and so is priced a little higher.

Re: CIWS and VIRSS
Ok, thanks for the reply. I did think so due to seeing a CIWS equipped otherwise identical unit have a slightly higher price than it's VIRSS counterpart.
