Vulcan and Andorian (Star Trek) Sets Released

I have just released my latest two Star Trek sets. I decided to get them out of the way.

The Andorians are using the ships from the Illuminati set. Since the Illuminati set is seldom if ever used, and the ships look nice, I wanted to use them for a set that might get more action. Thus, the Andorian set is born. (Fear not, the Illuminati are still availible for download. Not that any one cares.) To view race go HERE

The Vulcans are a combination set. I used images gathered by MrSchizoid for the Vulcans, some that I created specifically for the Vulcans using DOGA, and some exsisting Internet images. Just read the Credits file under the HTML viewer for full details.

I think deeply religious race trait would suit Vulcans much better than psychic. Yes, they can do mind meld but it requires the direct physical contact and is a far cry from the abilities of Psi Corp, Protoss or any other race usually associated with psycic abilities. Hey, even Dianna Troy is more psychic than Spock !

On the other hand, Vulcans are apex (IMHO, of course) of confucianism. Besides, who or what can surpass Spock firing phasers as an Enterpise' religous talisman !?

Good point Oleg, to tell you the truth, I reallyh wanted to make them religous, but the way Warp had them set up first seemed to be the best way to go as an intial release. Personally, the religions aspect can also be added as new EMP files in the next Version. I have found a bunch of masking problems from the exsisting vulcan set that I used that I must now correct. So a new Version is on the horizon. This new Version will include the Relegious EMP files.

Well, you are in charge now ! Shape them at your will !

Simple .emp files are insufficient. AI_research, design creation and facility construction files must be modified to accomodate race traits.

Oleg, knock your self out. If you make the AI, I would be honored to include it with the set as the standard AI.
