An odd and unusual glitch
I was playing as LA Ermor, which is a great deal of fun, and after a couple hundred turns the game became corrupted. Most of the game still runs fine, but I've noticed a couple of odd problems.
Double clicking (to select all units of type) has no effect.
Keyboard commands (such as 'e' to select all units of two or more experience) do not work.
I started a new game & none of these problems occur. Is this sort of thing common with massive numbers of units? As LA Ermor playing against the AI I was able to build up thousand unit armies.

Re: An odd and unusual glitch
I have had this problem as well. The game killers for me are when the armies become so large that the double click type selection begins to falter & the nation overview screen begins to drag horribly near the end of the list. I usually just quit and start another game.
Not sure if it is a memory issue, or a bottleneck in the game engine?

Re: An odd and unusual glitch
Please check using your corrupted game:
- does left-click-and-drag of the map work ?
- does shift-clicking work?
- does any shift-key command or typing (names, messages!) work?
- does the numpad work?
If not, I guess it's in fact a problem that can hit you right from turn 1.
Sadly, it's fairly intermittent and non-reproducable, at least up to now.
If it happens regularly with your savegame, please zip up the savegame folder (don't forget any mods or non-standard maps you might have used) and post & attach it in the bug thread !
Thanks!

Re: An odd and unusual glitch
I have had that same problem several times, sometimes in mid game sometimes in late game. It does not seem to be dependant on nation or age. It does seem to effect large armies, or rather it starts when you mass large armies.
The double click thing is the most frustrating, However i have found that with persistance you can get it to work. I think it might be a memory problem.
