Biafra Units
Way back in the beginning somebody proposed to add Biafran units to the Nigerian Obat. What ever became of that?
Dankie,

Re: Biafra Units
Absolutely no interest, other than perhaps from yourself.
About the only thing that Biafran war could be done would be some scenarios - in which case, the designer can buy and edit/rename suitable forces in a Nigerian civil war situation wit the Biafrans as the rebels (P2).
Someone wanting to play a stand alone battle, or campaign can also use the civil war setting, playing as P1 against the rebel forces (Biafra). On low points, the AI wont buy much armour, or if really interested - you could always edit the formations to replace armoured ones with irregular warbands/mercs, arty with mortars or whatever.
Or, if someone is really interested and would like to supply some orbats that 1 player in possibly 1000 might try - then by all means, lay out a proposed Biafran orbat, and I might be persuaded to enter such and an AI pick list (the main work), and perhaps some specific batlocs (if the defaults dont suit the area).
But I'm not spending any of my own time on research for such a low-interest item.

Although, the Nigerian river delta state and some of the Igbo have hot heads talking succession, I do not think at this time either of these parties are serious.
I had considered a small Biafran scenario, but have since lost interest in the idea.
However, it would not be difficult to build an Igbo insurgent force from Nigerian OOB as MobHack describes.
