Default LOL...What did I do?

So, I was just waltzing around a system, and I must have done something because now there is a line of Nebula Flea's now...I didn't attack them or anything, but I had been overloaded with cargo, and can only think they are attracted to that?

So I just realized now that I am at lvl 25 cave, that I have too much loot, and going to overflow again and have fun with those dang fleas...what do you do to mitigate this. Its not like I can go sell then come back, I wouldn't have the O2 to make it back to here.

Actually, you might be able to come back here. What some people don't notice for a long time (yeah, it took me some time to notice that too) is that the oxygen-replenishing algae in caves do spawn over time, so for as long as your starting oxygen capacity is high enough to get anywhere you might very well be able to return.

That being said, when I'm overloaded like that I just fly to the nearest station in that sector, sell all that stuff, and then gather the rest. I never really had a problem with those fleas ... but then again, that might very well be because I mostly use trader ships so it's hard for me to lose a lot of cargo (which I think only happened once to me, all the other times it was just a few units of cargo spilling).

The best solution to Space fleas is to kill them and isolated them from spreading with the ram scoop which uses the nebula they need to live on.

Kill flea, eat nebula and repeat until all fleas dead.

Everything is more or less fine with them until they begin attacking. And they destroy directly the hull,no matter how many shields you have (I think, that is what I remember, at least). I have met also a big bad flea. Imagine the outcome....
Thst is why ram scoop is a very important device. I had not the ram scoop at that moment and did not manage the situation wisely..
