While I'm messing about with spreadsheets, does anybody fancy a guess at the world's most expensive unit, and its cost? Without looking at a spreadsheet

And for another one, the world's most expensive tank, and its cost.

Don & Andy, you probably know these off by heart - but neither was what I thought.

Closest to both gets an honourable 'mention in dispatches'.

I would say a helicopter, an Apache Gunship probably. Cost....around 800?

Most expensive tank...Merkava variation? about 690?

What about a B-2 bomber?

Being that US spends to much for everything,I'd say M1A2 for the tank.

Wdll, superb on the tank, correctly identified, and a mere 20 points out. Israel 69, the Merkava Mk.4b, at 670 points.

And Skirmisher, you're on the nose for the Rolls-Royce, the B-2 with 16 1000lb JDAMs (USA 355), which I suspect has had to be artificially capped at 999 points.

Don, what did I say about not looking at the spreadsheet?(Leaving the column headers up there rather gave you away!)
