Terrain Tile Lock?

Is there a way to 'lock' a certain terrain tile, for instance, if I'm creating a map and want to create a cluster of buildings all using the same icon, is there a way to lock it in, rather than clicking until the right building appears?

YES there is. Read the Help file that is available when you are in the map editor.

The in-game help screen is brought up by the "?" hot-key, or by pressing the red "?" button (or in one or two screens, a text button labelled "help").
