Default Raven Feast

I've cast Raven Feast on provinces with unburied corpse numbers from 150 to 21, and each time gotten 3 death gems. Is that what the spell is supposed to do, and the manual is wrong that the returns are greater on provinces with more dead?

It's supposed to give you more with more unburied dead, but in practice it doesn't seem to make much difference and the spell rarely gives you much in the way of death gems.

It's kinda just a way to turn air gems into death gems, rather than a way to turn corpses into gems.

Actually it makes sense to cast it after plague events/spells, as thousands of corpses tend to produce ten or so D gems.

And it's also useful if you're worried about someone else making use of those corpses.

Actually I found that trippling your air gems into death can be well worth it if you luck into powerful air mages, In the game I won as LA ulm raven feast was my key to getting enough death boosters on my vamp lords. Thanks to finding the silver order.

I only cast the spell after a plague has struck a province or the few times when an unfriendly neighbor could use the corpses.

And how many times it should be cast reasonably on a province after plague?

Once, it consumes all corpses.
